...STRONG WINDS IN THE FOOTHILLS THROUGH THIS EVENING... .A STRONG WINTER STORM
MOVING OVER NORTHERN COLORADO WILL BRING STRONG WINDS TO THE EAST SLOPES OF
THE FRONT RANGE TODAY AND TONIGHT. EARLY THIS MORNING WIND GUSTS IN THE 40 TO 60
MPH RANGE WERE REPORTED...WITH THE STRONGEST GUST 68 MPH AT ROCKY FLATS. SIMILAR
WINDS ARE EXPECTED MUCH OF THE DAY...WITH A THREAT OF...SNOW AND INCREASING WINDS
FOR THE HIGH COUNTRY TONIGHT... MOIST AIR FROM THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST IS MOVING
INTO THE NORTH CENTRAL COLORADO MOUNTAINS TONIGHT. SNOWFALL WILL BECOME
WIDESPREAD AND POSSIBLY HEAVY AT TIMES OVERNIGHT. STRONG WEST WINDS GUSTING IN
THE 40 TO 70 MPH RANGE WILL PRODUCE CONSIDERABLE BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW IN
