MOUNTAINS. THE COLORADO AVALANCHE INFORMATION CENTER IS ISSUING AN AVALANCHE
WATCH FOR THE PARK, ELK HEAD, FLAT TOP, FRONT, GORE, TENMILE, & ELK RANGES PLUS
GRAND MESA....HEAVY SNOW COMING TO THE MOUNTAINS... .A STRONG PACIFIC STORM
SYSTEM WILL MOVE FROM THE WEST COAST OF THE U.S. INTO UTAH SATURDAY
AFTERNOON...AND THEN ACROSS COLORADO SATURDAY NIGHT. MOISTURE WILL INCREASE
SIGNIFICANTLY AHEAD OF THIS STORM SYSTEM...WITH SNOW DEVELOPING IN THE MOUNTAINS
DURING THE DAY SATURDAY. THE HEAVIEST SNOWFALL WILL OCCUR FROM LATE...STRONG
WINDS EXPECTED SATURDAY FOR THE EAST SLOPES OF THE MOUNTAINS AND FOOTHILLS...
.THE NEXT PACIFIC SYSTEM BRINGING STRONG WINDS TO THE HIGHER MOUNTAINS WILL
